Signs of Improvement

Well, I think the drugs are working. The cough has dropped into my chest, never a good sign for me, but the cloud, fog, and frogs in my head have left. I can hear! I can think. I don't feel like I'm living inside a cotton ball. I know that I still need to rest and take it easy, but at least I might be able to start back to work on end-of-term projects. Maybe I can actually leave my apartment today. Maybe I could even attend Lessons and Carols tonight, a service which I've planned but didn't think I could participate in. We'll see. Too much too quickly and I'll be back in bed.
