Muir Woods

These are the last California pictures I'll be posting. On my last day I spent a few hours in Muir Woods, a coastal redwood forest. Unfortunately I can't figure out how to load vertical pictures here, so I can only post the ones that are horizontal. It's very hard to capture redwoods on film, and I had the wrong feature selected on my new camera, so many of my pictures came out blurry. But this should give you a little view of what it was like. Deep peacefulness is the feeling of a redwood grove. They can survive terrible fires and still keep on growing. I loved spending time with them.
