More snow

After a night of ice and sleet, the most beautiful snow is falling. Some of the flakes are an inch across! The wind has temporarily ceased, and so the huge flakes are falling straight down. Since it's still daylight, I can watch it. (Though I should be working.) Something about snow delights me. My seminary friends have told me to stop asking for snow because we've had enough now, and after this I will agree with them, but it's so delightful to see these fluffy flakes. Snow here is usually tiny, blowing flakes.

Tell John that those big plate-size flakes are "lake effect." That should get the wind blowing again! :-D
