Crabapple delight

Yesterday sucked. Everything about my role in Commencement sucks. I'm resorting to thinking of the things that would be worse for me to be doing. Having chicken pox. That's worse than planning Commencement. Having my leg amputated. That would be worse. I don't even have to mention all the horrible things going on in the world that I'm thankful aren't part of my life. There - Commencement doesn't seem so bad.

Today I played hookey from everything and went to the Chicago Botanic Gardens to see the crabapples while they were still in bloom. These are a few pictures.
