Proud Aunt

My niece started kindergarten on Monday. I am so proud of her. I tried to post a picture of her here from her first day, but every time I try, my browser shuts down on me. So instead you'll have to imagine Emily with her Princess backpack and her beautiful smile. It seems like only a year or two ago I was sitting on my front porch in VA with a friend, eating cherries and waiting for news of Emily's arrival. And now she's starting kindergarten. Wow!
